Shivya Nath is the author of the best selling travel memoir, The Shooting Star, and an award-winning travel writer. She has spent the past decade developing digital storytelling techniques, writing about environmentally/socially conscious travel experiences, and creating market linkages for travel enterprises from Guatemala to Goa. During the pandemic, she co-founded Voices of Rural India, a non-profit initiative working with rural communities across India to build alternate livelihoods through digital storytelling. She has appeared on the cover of National Geographic Traveller and been featured by The Washington Post as a traveller changing our view of the world. She works with businesses, non-profits and governments on innovative sustainable tourism development and storytelling.
