Mariam has been working at the museum since January 2015. As part of her professional development, she took a course of Art History with Sotheby’s Institute of Art and worked at the Louvre Paris alongside the External Relations team for months learning how an open and breathing museum functions before the
opening of Louvre Abu Dhabi. She graduated in 2014 from Zayed University’s College of Communication and Media Sciences with a Bachelor’s degree in tourism and cultural communications. She is currently pursuing the Master in History of Art and Museum Studies at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Mariam is also passionate about archaeology and has been excavating since 2014 in the UAE and
abroad.
