Margus Tiru has 13 years of experience with analysis of location datasets, GIS, Mobile Big Data and new data sources for official statistics. He is a member of the UN Statistics Division Global Working Group on Big Data for Official Statistics task team Mobile Phone Data. He is the Chief Data Officer in Positium working on development of the methodology and system for processing Mobile Big Data into meaningful and valuable statistical indicators.
