Katarzyna Smętek is the president of WUF11 Youth Council as well as the president of Polish Youth Climate Council. She is an ambassador of the European Climate Pact. As a youth climate activist she has participated in several high-level conferences such as COP24, COP25, UN Climate Action Summit, Abu Dhabi Climate Meeting, the 10th Session of the World Urban Forum, the UN High-Level Meeting on Climate and Sustainable Development for All. She was part of the UN working group co-organizing the UN Youth Climate Summit in 2019. She promotes youth engagement and participation in decision-making processes on all levels of political governance.
