Iñaqui Carnicero Alonso-Colmenares's built work, is mostly result of winning public competitions, and it has been recognized. In addition to his work as an architect, he is a teacher, researcher and curator, in the filed of housing, urban and renovation. His teaching experience includes 12 years as an Associate Professor at the University of Madrid, and 8 years as a visiting professor at various international universities. In other international activities stands out the co-direction and design of the Pavilion of Spain at the 2016 Venice Biennale with the exhibition "Unfinished", awarded with the highest award, the Golden Lion for the best national pavilion. He has played an important role in the dissemination of Spanish architecture having been invited as speaker in conferences in more than 20 countries.
